Dr. Lewin graduated from Medical School at University of Buenos Aires in 1995. She completed her residency training in Family Medicine at University of Ottawa in 2006. She worked at the Kemptville District Hospital and health centre from 2007 until 2017.
Dr. Lewin is an associate professor at the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Ottawa, supervising residents. She was a member and former Vice-Chair of the Canadian Task Force on Preventive Health Care from 2011-2018 helping develop preventive care guidelines.
She has been enjoying her family medicine practice in this group since 2018.
Dr Lewin also she does Cosmetic Medicine since 2017 at a separate location.
Dr. Jacqueline Poitras graduated from medical school at the University of Toronto in 2008. She completed her residency training in her hometown of Ottawa in 2011. She worked at the Sexual Health Centre and Community Health Centres prior to starting her family practice at Broadview in 2012. She enjoys teaching medical students at the University of Ottawa, where she is a Lecturer with the Faculty of Medicine. She recently gave up privileges with the Ottawa Hospital, but previously worked in the division of Neonatology caring for newborns. She enjoys the diversity and scope of family medicine, but especially new babies and their parents.
Dr Giles completed her medical degree at the University of Toronto in 2011. She then enjoyed residency training in Family Medicine at the University of Ottawa until 2013. After graduation, Dr Giles worked as the Family Doctor for the Psychiatry unit at TOH- General Campus and as a Hospitalist at the Kemptville Hospital. After having her son and daughter in 2014 and 2016, Dr Giles took over a full time family practice in 2018.
Matthew completed his medical degree at the University of Toronto in 2014. He then completed his residency program in Family Medicine in 2016 and has been practicing family medicine in Ottawa since. Prior to medical school he completed a BSc and MSc in Human Kinetics and Biomechanics at the University of Ottawa.
Outside of medicine Matthew loves to paint and write children's stories.

We encourage you to go to your local pharmacy or Public Health Clinic to get your flu shot.
We will have a limited number available at our clinic with a priority for children under 2 years of age.
PRESCRIPTION RENEWALS:
Starting January 1, 2025 our office will begin charging $25 for prescription renewals without an appointment, including fax requests from the pharmacy. Please ask your physician to review and renew your medications during your medical appointments.
WINTER HOLIDAY HOURS:
Our office will be closed from Dec 23rd 2024
until Jan 1st 2025 inclusive.
